Requirements for Participation

Students that apply for the ETS Quarterly Programs or Yearlong Leadership Programs must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a current UCSD student

  • Submit a completed application for the program that fits your interest

  • Have a desire to improve your communication, interpersonal and/or leadership skills

  • Have a desire to interact with others and make new friends on campus
  • Be able to commit to their chosen seminar time for the full duration of the program and complete all assignments

  • Participate in all group discussions and activities

  • Applicants for the ETS Yearlong Leadership Programs may be asked to interview with the Director to assess if the program is the right fit for the student.
Students interested in Communicate UCSD! must be current UCSD students. In order to receive a certificate of completion, students must attend at least 10 seminars or workshops listed on the program schedule. Students may choose to attend the seminars or workshops that best align with their personal needs and interests. No application is necessary for this program.
